Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel room was super spacious and comfortable, truly giving a homely vibe, but it felt not very clean. The service was dismissive initially, with rude behavior towards another guest, but improved later with early apartment prep. The location was lovely with easy access to amenities and a view of the city, but slightly run down with broken appliances. The dining experience was subpar with stale croissants, but homemade yogurt was a plus.
The hotel offers rooms with balconies providing amazing views, which are nice, comfortable, and secure, with great kitchen facilities. The space accommodates two adults and a 15-year-old perfectly, and the view is awesome. While the service had its ups and downs, the location is fabulous, especially with a park across the road. The dining experience may vary, but overall, the facilities are great.
The hotel may lack the view of the Sky Tower as advertised, but it offers marvelous rooms with some prominent smear marks on TV, windows, and fridge. The in-house entertainment system and Smart TV are convenient, but only Freeview channels are available with no internet TV. Despite some drawbacks, the location is absolutely perfect for those looking to enjoy dinner and drinks in the city, particularly being close to Vic Park and within easy reach of Auckland's attractions.
The hotel had prominent smear marks in the rooms and was noisy starting from 4 am. Additionally, the lack of car parking and room service were disappointing aspects. The daily room service came at an extra $60 charge.
I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and soundproof with a nice view, plus I got a free upgrade! The service was attentive and available 24/7, though the staff could have been more accommodating with some requests. The location was fantastic with a huge park nearby, but the noise from local bars could be a bit much. The dining experience was a bit disappointing, but the coffee was good. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor drawbacks.
The hotel rooms were lovely with a great view, tastefully decorated with modern vibes, and convenient amenities, but the price was unexpectedly high for a weekend stay. The service was good overall but had some hiccups check-in due to a night bond requirement. The location was excellent, close to eateries, with a park across the street, but pricey parking was a downside. The dining options were limited, especially for breakfast.
